Offered are 4 sets of vintage Minton, England, luncheon and bread & butter plates. Crafted in bone china in the Audley design, this gorgeous retired pattern features large gold floral sprays on white. Finish on these plates, including the gold trim on scalloped edges, is bright and beautiful, with light to no utensil marks or bottom wear. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, or stains. The maker mark on these pieces suggests production from 1951 and on. There are some what at first appears to be random gold factory “spots” on the back of the plates, but a few seem to be repeated. (Perhaps factory marks?) There are also impressed marks that might signify the month and year of manufacture, in this case the early to mid-1950s.
Bread & butter plate is 6.25 in. Luncheon plate is 9 in.
Use these as a replacement or an addition to a collection. They would also make a beautiful display or a wonderful gift for someone who collects Minton china.
